Description of Event:
Join Groundwork Lawrence, Rebecca Veilleux, Biology Teacher at Lawrence High School and Tennis Lilly, Chair of the Lawrence Conservation Commission, for a brisk hike through Lawrence's "hidden jewel," Den Rock Park. The park is a 120-acre wooded preserve that includes walking trails, a granite rock face with fissures perfect for technical climbing, scenic overlooks, a beaver pond, and access to the Shawsheen River. The hike is on maintained trails, with uneven terrain and moderate elevation changes. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

I-495 Exit 42A to Rte-114 West, across from the North Andover Shopping Market on the Lawrence/N. Andover line. Park in the parking lot or across the street in the shopping center parking lot.
