Key Programs Offered:
As our Mission Statement indicates, our mission is to help put adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to work by providing employment-related services and training in a caring and open environment. The services that Asperger Works will provide are many-fold:
Develop programs that will aid very under-served and talented individuals within the autistic community find fulfilling work, stay employed, and advance in their careers. These programs will include (but will not be limited to) mentoring; job coaching; and education programs (in collaboration with NILP, such as
how to seek jobs
how to write resumes
how to fill out applications
Assist employers’ understanding of how they can leverage the strengths of persons on the Spectrum and provide work environments that set up autistic workers for success.
Provide support services and advice for both adults with ASD and employers so that they can learn to work together and benefit each other.
