Description of Event:

Mayor Daniel Rivera & the City of Lawrence Lead Abatement program invite your organization to participate in the Lead Poisoning Prevention Resource Fair from 12-2 p.m., October 30th, at the Heritage State Park 1 Jackson Street Lawrence, MA. The purpose of the resource fair is to introduce residents of Lawrence to a variety of Lead Prevention resources available to them thru the City of Lawrence.

LPPW 2015 Lead Poisoning Prevention Week

This year's National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week theme, "Lead-Free Kids for a Healthy Future," will focus on the importance of the many ways parents can reduce a child's exposure to lead and prevent its serious health effects.

This year’s Lead Resource Fair will connect dozens of service providers to many families. The participating organizations and the individuals will benefit from being connected to the community. Each organization will be able to set up a table at the Heritage State Park to provide information, give away gifts, and talk to residents about their needs.

If you would like to participate in the Lead Resource Fair by having a resource table, please complete the attached registration form and return it to GLCAC Inc.’s Merrimack Valley Lead Poison Prevention Program, 305 Essex St., 2nd floor, Lawrence, MA 01840 or email agonzalez@glcac.org. Please post and distribute the attached flyers. If you have any questions, please call us at(978) 681-4996 or email Andres Gonzalez atagonzalez@glcac.org.
