Lawrence Heritage State Park for walking tour of the mill district along the North Canal to learn about the history of the mills and waterpower, and to see new mill redevelopments and Lawrence’s newest park, at the confluence of the Merrimack River, the North Canal, and the Spicket River. Approximately 1.5 miles on mostly level ground.
