Get involved in local activism and add your voice in shaping a progressive future for the Merrimack Valley and beyond! Join a forum with other local activists and statewide advocacy groups to get involved with the work being done on priority issues:
- Immigration
- Combating the Opioid Epidemic

- Labor/Economic Justice

- Running for Office
- Women's Empowerment
- Criminal Justice Reform
- Environment
The event will begin with a brief speaking program, followed by three half-hour breakout sessions, covering the nine issues mentioned. You can choose which issues you'd like to get involved in - what is important to YOU!

In each session, presenting statewide organizations including Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Teachers Association, Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM), Raise Up Massachusetts, Mass Alliance, and more will provide a short legislative update, but mainly, we collaborate and discuss concrete actions we can take to further these causes, here in our towns and also at the state level. Plus - we will be joined by Massachusetts Democratic Party Chair Gus Bickford!

This is a great opportunity to meet the leaders of advocacy movements across the state as well as in your area, build relationships with other like-minded activists, and involve yourself in the political engagement happening across the country. We're building a coalition of folks passionate and ready to get to work making positive change in the Merrimack Valley.
