Description of Event:

Calling all Lawrence cats! Stay healthy! Get your free shots on 11/20!

The MSPCA at Nevins Farm will be providing free rabies and FVRCP shots for cats owned by residents of the City of Lawrence. We'll also have microchips (a permanent form of identification) available for $25.

Why are we doing this now, you may ask? There was a recent outbreak in Mattapan of feline Panleukopenia (an illness that we see at our shelter most readily from free-roaming cats coming to us from Lawrence) so we've decided to get ahead of the curve and help protect cats at the highest risk. Help from our friends at Massachusetts Animal Fund helped make our clinic possible.

So, tell all your friends, coworkers, family and cat lovers in Lawrence to come see us at the Lawrence Community Police Center (at the corner of South Union and Merrimack Street at the train station) on Sunday, November 20th from 11am - 3pm!  Let's help as many cats as possible stay healthy and safe.

PS - cats coming to this event must be in carriers. If their humans need a carrier, please stop by the MSPCA at Nevins Farm (400 Broadway, Methuen) for a carrier.
